Motorcycle Shock Rebuild Service

A rebuild service is recommended between 20 to 30,000 miles depending upon use (Touring, Race, Off Road etc) for all quality shocks.  (The typical OEM shock will be worn out and need replacement before 20,000 miles.)

We pride ourselves on the attention we give to rebuild service. Most rebuilds are completed and posted for return shipping in less then 5 business days of receipt by us. In the rare event we cannot meet this deadline you will be informed by email or phone call about the specifics of the delay. 

The rebuild service is priced between $ 95.00 and $ 125.00 depending on the model of shock. The service includes cleaning of the shock (extremely dirty shocks, encrusted with mud etc. do require an additional $ 20.00 cleaning charge), disassembling and inspection, new seals (parts extra), fresh oil and recharging with nitrogen gas. If we find any damaged parts due to material defects and/or workmanship, the part will be replaced at no cost during the warranty period for shocks sold by EPM or our authorized dealers. For shocks purchased elsewhere the cost of parts is the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Please call us before you send the shock for service and let us know when you will be sending it. We do not assign RA numbers, but would like to know what is coming and when.

Together with the shock please include a brief note with the following information:

• your name
• return address
• email
• phone number
• explain any symptoms or what you want us to do
• credit card information (number and expiration date) for the rebuild and return shipping charges.
• Also state the method of shipment for the return ( ground, next day air etc.).
